Bob Elfrink (L’66) passed away. The wake is at Colliers 3400 North Lindbergh this afternoon and evening (Tuesday, 07/29/08) from 3:00-9:00 p.m., and the funeral Mass is at Our Lady of Pillar at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, 07/30/08).

Susan Mischke (G’70) lost her dad, Eugene Mischke, on September 19, 2007.

Sister Joyce Buckler CSJ

Buckler, Sister Joyce, CSJ Fortified by the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 19. She was born in Loretto, Ky., to William and Mary (Heistand) Buckler, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brothers John, Joseph, William and Borgia Buckler; and sisters Martha Buckler, Lorraine Hoffman, and Susan Davis. She is survived by her sisters, S. Mary Rhodes Buckler, SL (Theresa) of Nerinx, Ky. and Nancy Buckler of Chicago, Ill.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Buckler of Springfield, Ky.; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and beloved Sisters in Christ.Services: A Mass of the Resurrection celebrating S. Joyce will be held on Wednesday, June 25 with a wake at 9 a.m., followed by the liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gerard Majella Church, 1969 Dougherty Ferry Rd., Kirkwood, Mo. Burial will follow immediately after the Mass at Nazareth Cemetery, 2 Nazareth Lane, St. Louis, MO 63129. Funeral arrangements were made by Fey Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 6400 Minnesota Ave., St. Louis, MO 63111-2899.
